Several beaches are opened throughout Kanagawa, from the Miura Peninsuala to the Shonan Coast and Seisho.

A traditional Boat Festival at the fishing port of Manazuru. There are many kinds of decorated boats, band music on the boats, and portable shrines. A very enjoyable event.

Kanagawa Yamato Awaodori

This dance is around 400 years old and is said to have originated in Tokushima. The Yamato Awaodori dance started in 1977 and is the largest awaodori dance event in the prefecture.
