Lake Tsukuiko Shiroyama Park

Lake Tsukuiko Shiroyama Park Shiroyama was a mountain castle during the Warring States period, when it was known as “Tsukui Castle.” Lake Tsukuiko Shiroyama Park is located on both sides of Tsukuiko Lake. In the Negoya Chiku area of the park located at the foot of the mountain, you can enjoy walking and viewing history and culture. The Hana no Enchi and Mizu no Enchi areas on the bank of the river are famous cherry blossom viewing sites that feature beautiful views of the cherry trees reflected in the water.

Sagamigawa River

Sagamigawa River The grand Sagamigawa River with its lush natural surroundings has a walking course, camping ground, and parks making it a popular recreation spot. There is the Giant Kite festival, and then from late April to early May, the sky above Takada bridge is filled with 1200 Carp streamers from all across Japan.
To commemorate the lifting of the ayu fishing restrictions on June 1, the area is thronged with anglers.

Sagami Giant Kite Festival and Giant Kite Center

Sagami Giant Kite Festival and Giant Kite Center The Sagami Giant Kite festival has a long history dating back to the mid-19th century. Every year on the festival on May 5, the Sagami Giant Kite festival is held in Araiso area. The Sagami Giant Kite Center has a display of kites from around Japan and from abroad.
