The Enoden Train Line started on September 1, 1902 when a line was opened between Fujisawa and Katase. Today, the line connects Fujisawa and Kamakura with 15 stations across 10 km of track. Passengers enjoy looking out of the train windows at the mountains, rivers, and the sea, as well as at the neighborhoods and streetscapes that the train cars pass through. A variety of events are planned for November 4, 2010, when Enoden will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of all of its lines.
