Narukawa Museum of Art
This museum of modern Japanese art is located on a hill overlooking Hakone and Lake Ashinoko. There are about 4,000 works of art, including those by Kyujin Yamamoto and Ikuo Hirayama. The exhibition is changed four times a year. Tel 0460-83-6828
Take a bus from Odawara sta. on the JR Tokaido line or Odakyu line or from Hakone Yumoto sta. bound for Hakone machi, or take an Izu Hakone bus or a Hakone Tozan bus and get off at Motohakoneko.

Gora Park Crafthouse
This is a hands-on crafthouse in the grounds of Gora Park. Here you can try glass blowing, sandblasting, pottery, dry-flower arranging etc. You can find a unique souvenir at the shop or take a look at the artists gallery which changes its exhibits every month. Hakone Open-Air Museum
The Hakone Open-Air Museum was opened in 1969 to create a harmonious balance between nature and art. Hakone Glass Forest

Pola Museum of Art
This museum has a collection of about 9,500 pieces, centred on about 400 Western modern pictures by the likes of Renoir, Monet and Picasso. You can enjoy the diverse array of other exhibits such as Oriental potteries, glass works and cosmetic utensils. Tel: 0460-84-2111

Lalique Museum, Hakone
